Reboot ("we," "us," "the platform") is a digital wellness and performance skills program for adolescents and their parents/guardians, addressing problematic digital media use, operated by Reframe Life LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected. It applies to rebootpsyched.online and all connected program pages.
We collect the following categories of information:
Information is used to deliver the program, route safety notifications to the appropriate parent or counselor when a screening response indicates risk, track program completion, and improve program content. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student data for advertising.
A mobile phone number is required to create a parent or guardian account and is verified through a one-time automated text message code as a standard account security step. This one-time verification message is separate from, and not affected by, the optional safety alert SMS described below.
If a screening response indicates a safety concern, the platform sends an automated notification by email, and by SMS text message where a parent has separately and explicitly opted in to receive ongoing text messages. This ongoing SMS consent is optional, is never required to use the platform, and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP to any message received. Email notifications continue regardless of SMS consent status. In school-based deployments, the designated school counselor is notified instead of the parent directly, consistent with the program's counselor-routed safety model, and the counselor is responsible for parent contact by phone.
Data is stored using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database provider, and the platform is served via Netlify. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect data. In school-based deployments, data handling is intended to be consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). For students under 13, the platform follows applicable requirements under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including obtaining verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from the student.
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each processes only the information necessary to perform its function:
A student's individual screening responses are private from their parent or guardian. When a safety notification is sent, it describes the nature of the concern in general, non-diagnostic terms rather than disclosing the specific content of the student's answers. This is intended to encourage honest responses while still ensuring a responsible adult is alerted when needed.
Account holders may request deletion of their data at any time through the platform's account settings or by contacting us directly. Upon a verified deletion request, associated screening responses, consent records, and account information are removed, except where retention is required by law or for active safety follow-up.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
